Free Senior Art Classes
Join Chantal and the Athens Rivertown Senior Apartment residents for FREE senior art classes, held in the community room on Monday’s at 2PM!

MARCH 18 - SPRING GARDEN BASKET
Assemble a small spring basket with grass, colored dyed eggs and a spring flower.
APRIL 22 - FELT FLOWER BROOCH
Create a multi-layered colored felt flower, embellished with buttons and beads.
MAY 13 - FOLK ART BIRD MAGNET
Paint a folk art wooden bird using basic strokes such as dots, curved and straight lines.
JUNE 10 - ABSTRACT FAIRY
These fun fairies come to life from pieces of fabric, ribbons, wool, papers, doilies, gems and more!
SEPTEMBER 16 - LEAF GARLAND
Watercolor your precut autumn leaves into a warm fall garland to hang.
OCTOBER 14 - WISE OL’ OWLS
Collage and sponge paint your secretive night creature with feathers, buttons, and bark!
NOVEMBER 18 - SUNCATCHER/TRANSPARENCIES
Create a window display with transparent, colored kite paper to be enjoyed through the dark winter days.
DECEMBER 16 - NATURE ANGELS
Construct a pinecone angel out of natural materials, topped with a golden halo.
