The Athens Holiday House Decorating Contest will be held this year. The Athens Cultural Center is sponsoring the contest with a grand prize of a beautiful gift basket from Blackhorse Farms for one outstanding decorated home.

Judges from the Athens Garden Club will be looking at the exterior of the nominated houses and searching for those that look good both day and night!  The friendly competition has increased over the years with more elaborate and eye-catching decorations displayed throughout the village.

Judging will take place the week of December 3rd.   If you would like to participate, or nominate your neighbor’s home, please email the address to info@athensculturalcenter.org or call 845-489-0708 or 518-945-2136 before December 2nd. The judges will view the participating homes both during the day and at night. The prize and a year’s worth of bragging rights will be awarded December 9th during the Athens Victorian Stroll.
