In conjunction with the exhibition “A Declaration of Sentiments,” please join us for a talk, “The Rest of the story of the Suffrage Movement,” by the dynamic Sally Roesch Wagner. Ms Wagner is the author of numerous books and articles telling the “untold stories” of women’s history. Recent publications include “Sisters in Spirit” which explores the influence of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) on the women’s right’s movement. She contributed to, and is featured in, Ken Burns’ “Not for Ourselves Alone” a documentary on Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony: is a Professor at Syracuse University, and is Director of the Matilda Joslyn Gage Center for Social Justice Dialogue.
