Anyone who loves to sing is welcome to join the Athens Community Chorus. There are no auditions or membership dues. All that we require is a little bit of talent and a big appreciation for good music. We will get together once a month to share our talents and to sing a rich and diverse selection of vocal works, from classical to jazz standards, and Broadway to madrigals.

Using toys, puppets and contemporary art inspired by toys this exhibit examines how these toys, the ubiquitous dolls, cars, trains , etc., reflective of the era in which they were produced, resonate with young and old, artist and non-artist alike. Play develops imagination, creativity and invention, and toys and puppets are tools the we use both as children and adults to inform artistic expression.

Age and Confident Men
Saturdays, 10:30am -noon
A class dedicated to the principal that everyone has inner grace. The goal of the class is to improve balance and flexibility and transform your body awareness. The class uses techniques from ballet, modern dance, jazz, soft shoe, and 4th grade Phys Ed. class. All techniques are consistent with the instructor’s age. Attire is required. Loose fitting clothes, ballet or regular slippers, are recommended.
Instructor Bobby LuPone is a Julliard trained dancer and actor. He lives in Greene County with his wife Virginia and son Orlando.

Ballet and Other Smooth Moves for Women of a Certain
Age and Confident Men
Saturdays, 10:30am -noon
A class dedicated to the principal that everyone has inner grace. The goal of the class is to improve balance and flexibility and transform your body awareness. The class uses techniques from ballet, modern dance, jazz, soft shoe, and 4th grade Phys Ed. class. All techniques are consistent with the instructor’s age. Attire is required. Loose fitting clothes, ballet or regular slippers, are recommended.
Instructor Bobby LuPone is a Julliard trained dancer and actor. He lives in Greene County with his wife Virginia and son Orlando.

Tina has been knitting for 15 years, crocheting for 30+, and all manner of other fiber arts for years in between that span.
